K to 6th Grade
Season
Elementary Athletics competes as a member of USA Wrestling and a separate South Sound league in partnership with Reality Sports, Tacoma Slam, and the Vashon Rockbusters. Practices start in early December and the season will run through February.
Cost (Singlets are required to compete)
- $125 – If you do not need a new singlet (you wrestled with us last year).
- $185 – If you require a new singlet (for first-time wrestlers with us), need a different size, or need a replacement due to wear and tear.
Costs cover all league fees, USA Wrestling membership, uniform fees, and registration for the Washington State Tournament in Tacoma.
Divisions
Divisions are based on birth year and feature different weight classes. Please note: some tournaments and divisions may be coed for competition.
Practices
Currently, practices are scheduled twice a week for 1.5 hours each. Specific locations and times are being finalized, and updates will be shared soon! Practices will be held in a Puyallup location.
Tournaments
Tournaments and duels will take place from December through the end of February. The tentative schedule includes 3-7 league tournaments/duels, with optional signups for other tournaments through USA Wrestling (additional costs may be required). The season will conclude with attendance at the Washington State Tournament at the Tacoma Dome. Local travel is required.
