National Poetry Month 2026

National Poetry Month was established in April 1996 by the Academy of American Poets. Today, it is celebrated globally by poets of all ages and walks of life, and we are excited to have participated this year at Cascade Christian Schools.

We called on our students for poem submissions, and they rose to the occasion with excellence. Below you will find a collection from junior high and high school students and a collection from our elementary students. You do not have to be a poet to enjoy these students’ creativity and heart!
